ESPNW brings a great story about the world’s best female basketball player (who’s awesome to watch). She’s articulate, strong, and gay. (Added to the fact that she’s dunked twice already this year!) A really impressive young girl entering the peak of her career and having fun doing it.

“I am 100-percent happy,” she says. “When I was at Baylor, I wasn’t fully happy because I couldn’t be all the way out. It feels so good saying it: I am a strong, black lesbian woman. Every single time I say it, I feel so much better.”
Good for her. Good for being yourself. A great lesson for anyone growing up and trying to find themselves.
