How about 21 habits of supremely happy people?

Sure!

A lot of great points here — ranging from the obvious to the specific (like valuing a good mixtape)

Which of these do you follow? Or try to?

Scientists are making some strides in understanding our genetic makeup — and just how diverse, evolving and fickle that can be.

Check out this NYT article on the new science around DNA.

All those years of marveling at how complex people can be from a simple DNA structure may not be all that correct.

Some Monday morning inspiration!

Science has founded that happiness levels aren’t the entire equation when it comes to living a good and happy life.

They have found that having meaning in your life – something more to live for, is really the key.

The author uses the example of Viktor Frankl, a holocaust survivor, author and influential thinker about the meaning of life.

Who’s got 3 minutes for an awesome Zen Pencils cartoon?

This one is a quote from Bill Watterson — the imaginative creator of the beloved Calvin & Hobbes.

It’s got a great lesson at the end — be sure to catch it Zeople!

Are you all familiar with author/speaker Brene Brown?

(If not, google her! Listen to her talks. Get her books!)

Brown recently gave an interview where she discusses living authentically and practicing courage.

This past weekend a woman named Diane Nyad did an astounding thing.

She became the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without any aid.

Oh, and she’s 64. And she’s tried this feat four times before. Now, on her fifth try, she achieved her goal.

Her accomplishment is beyond amazing — but so is her drive to reach her dream.

You can see her give a TED talk here called “Dare to Dream: Dare to Dream: Diana Nyad at TEDxBerlin

And you can read about her amazing swim here: http://espn.go.com/espnw/news-commentary/article/9630873/espnw-mere-humans-take-away-diana-nyad-record-feat

“She freakin’ made it!”

Don’t give up on your dreams Zeople!
