Welcome to my homepage!

A (brief) bio:

This is me. On a bench. In Jakarta. August 2011.

Which brings me to these facts: I love benches. I also love traveling. There are more things I love too: writing, reading, friends, family, and anything that intrigues the mind.

What else? Well, I’m a UW-Madison graduate. I’m an ESL teaching alumni (South Korea). Award-winning short story writer. First son. Older brother. Blogger. Movie goer. Baseball fan.

Beyond that, I spend my days as the Head of Learning at the best company around: Zirtual. If you havent’ heard of it you will soon.

That job means a few things; one, I’m an education buff. Two; I get to meet new people all the time, from all over the US and help them learn, as I learn as well. And three, it means that I can live anywhere (Zirtual is a virtual company).

To go back, to the other points, though; teaching and learning are things I hold dear and hope to continue on for the remainder of my life.

When I’m not Zirtual-ing, I’m reading( fiction, poetry, essays, self-improvement books, etc), writing, conversing about everything under the sun (and beyond!) and trying to keep my feet and mind moving in the world.
